In our Technical Courses, our experienced mountain guides will teach you everything you need to know in the mountains. From what to carry in your backpack, to the correct use of mountain equipment. Bufalo Technical Courses are for all ages and all levels, in any mountain discipline. They are taught in the vicinity of Baqueira/Beret, in any of the wonderful corners of the Aran Valley or in the rest of the Pyrenees, as our guides deem appropriate.

Climbing courses

On rock, whether sport climbing, bouldering or classic climbing. The courses are taught by Bufalo’s high mountain guides. Around the Aran Valley there are plenty of walls where we can practice and develop all our skills. The Technical Courses are designed both for beginners in sport climbing and to perfect the use and handling of equipment on clean walls and cracks where we must place our protections in order to progress. In winter in Baqueira we also offer climbing courses in the climbing wall for beginners as well as for those who want to improve their technique.

Ski touring courses

If you already have a medium/high level of alpine skiing, you can sign up for the ski mountaineering we do around Bufalo, where you can do easy ascents and Bufalo’s guides will teach you the technique of both ascending and descending on untreated snow. If you are already familiar with ski mountaineering, Bufalo offers advanced level courses to consolidate your technique and mastery of mountain equipment.

Off Piste Skiing Courses

They are intended for those who want to have new sensations and want to enjoy all types of snow. Within the same ski resort of Buffalo, we have a lot of kilometers to get started in this discipline. Bufalo’s guides will teach you how to enjoy all types of untreated snow with the utmost safety.

Buffalo Mountaineering Courses

The Bufalo Beekeeping courses are for everyone, from beginners to advanced levels, to go out in the mountains in winter conditions. Bufalo’s high mountain guides have years of mountaineering experience.

Avalanche courses

These courses are an excellent tool for experienced skiers and mountaineers as the knowledge of different types of snow, snow conditions, etc. will help them to improve their skiing skills. …. will help us to always enjoy the mountain. The use of safety equipment is essential for any winter mountain outing. In Bufalo we carry out these courses with the great experts in nivology in Baqueira/Beret together with our high mountain guides.
